Aaron is already marching forward stridently and purposefully. He spots George, and instead of stopping, slowing, or even looking at him, just gives him a brusque pat of acknowledgement and continues on. George looks around to see only Aaron’s retreating back, but still gets this big grin because Aaron noticed me omg. He attempts a ‘Hey Aaron!’ but the dude either doesn’t hear or ignores him - yet George still can’t stop grinning because, y’know, Aaron noticed me.
